John Cook Studios

John Cook studied glass blowing with internationally known glass artist John Burton for two years, after which he received a scholarship to Brooks Institute of Fine Art and graduated with honors in 1972, receiving his B.F.A. He has been blowing glass since.

Beginning with raw materials like sand, soda ash, potash and metal oxides John creates vessels, wall sculptures, perfume bottles, glasses, ornaments, lamps and lighting fixtures all designed and made at his studio including the metal work for his light fixtures.

John Cook Studios and Glass Gallery is located on the beautiful Oregon Coast Highway 101 in Gearhart.
