This Oregon artist has traveled throughout the Pacific Northwest finding places to record in pastel. Fascinated by the play of light as it dances across the land, Dittebrandt lifts shapes and colors out of nature and places them into pastel landscapes with sensitivity to the way light and shape intertwine.
Dittebrandt has been drawing and painting since childhood and developed skills with years of practice, trial and error, and study. The artist continues to produce drawings that paint a portrait of the Northwest.
