Goshen Art School Thumb Pianos are made with select, coconut or hard-shelled gourd bodies, hardwood tops,
and a minimum of one complete 8 key octave tuned to a major scale. The keys are smoothly finished spring steel.
The pianos have two finger holes for vibrato effects and come with a rawhide strap and basic playing instructions.
Because no two gourds or coconuts are exactly the same in shape or size, all gourd and coconut thumb pianos
are unique in shape and size as well as pitch. Lemon oil furniture polish is recommended for occasional wood top
cleaning and general maintenance.
