Jim Mullan's vintage bird collection was inspired by his fascination with birds and antique objects. Wooden crows were used as hunting decoys in the 1930's and 40's, while the smaller birds were carved in the 1950's. These original decoys were passed on to Jim in 1991 and just recently he began turning them into eclectic, one of a kind works of art. His lively sense of humor is evident in his creations.
Each bird is hand painted and then embellished with vintage found-objects such as croquet balls, binoculars, blocks and old toys. Since every bird is unique, please contact us to find out what is currently available.
