Stephanie Burton - This handmade vase has a folded appearance because it was made with soft slabs of clay.  Before assembling the vase, an array of different textures are added, including floral motifs as well as, an array of license plate stamps which bring in a wonderful element of typography. This vase also has an attached metal "S" adding even more texture and intrigue.  An antique copper oxide is applied under the satin glazes to give the piece a timeless and vintage touch.
